Promo Maker turns an App Store page, a website or your own images into a short promo video. This page explains what data that takes, where it goes and what you can do about it.
no account, an anonymous identifier
You don't sign up. On your first visit your browser creates a random identifier and keeps it in its local storage; it is sent with every request so the service can find your promos and your credit balance. It is not linked to your name, email or device.
The browser also remembers the site language you picked. We use no cookies, no advertising and no tracking. There is no analytics on the site yet; if we add it, it will be cookie-free and listed here.
what you send us
The link you paste, or the images, product name and description you upload, plus the options of the video: format, length, language, wishes and style.
When you download a video, a copy of the MP4 is uploaded and kept with the promo, so you can find it again.
Don't upload images or text with personal data of other people unless you have the right to use them.
what we collect from public pages
For an App Store link we read the app's public page: its name, icon, screenshots and description. For a website we read its public text and pictures. We don't log in anywhere and don't read anything that isn't public.
who processes it
The script of the video is written by Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, reached through the provider kie.ai. They receive the collected material and your options for that purpose only.
Promos, uploaded images and videos are stored with our cloud hosting and file storage providers. Servers keep technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and troubleshooting.
The video itself is rendered in your browser — not on our servers.
how long we keep it
Promos and their files are kept while the service runs, so you can open them again. Write to us with your identifier (shown below) and we will delete your promos and files.
your rights
You can ask what we store about your identifier, ask to correct or delete it, or clear it yourself: deleting the site's data in your browser removes the identifier, and the service can then no longer link those promos to you.
The service is not meant for children under 13.
changes
We will update this page when the data practices change; the date at the top shows the last update.
